J Simps HAS TO be Preggo

I know these rumors have been going around for like 3 years. Mostly having to do with her yo-yo weight. But this time, I am pretty sure she is pregnant. She postponed her wedding date, sign #1, and she only wears loose fitting clothes, sign #2, and she is getting errr rapidly fatter as the days go by, sign #3.

My guess is she got preggo and didn't want to get married fat so she is waiting til after the baby comes to get married. I mean she's been engaged for almost a year now. In celebrity relationships that's the equivalent of like 10 years. I would think they would've tied the knot by now!

Either way, good luck to J Simps! Maybe MTV will give her another newlyweds reality show. That was a pretty funny show. Even though she probably wouldn't do it because she is ridiculously loaded already. Her empire generated over $1 billion (yes I said billion) in sales in 2010 and her net worth is said to be over $100 million. All I can say is go gurl!

Someone Looks Chic

Gwen Stefani running errands in London on her 42nd birthday. Slim chance, but I hope I look half as good as her when I am 42. LOVING the outfit.

Thoughts

OKokok. I like George Clooney for obvious reasons. The same reason all women love him. He is extremely hot. But his bachelorish ways kind of disgust me to be honest.

So he was with Elisabetta Canalis, an Italian model and TV personality, for 2 years. Incase you've been living under a rock, here is a picture of them.



There would always be pics of them in the tabloids on vacation or at his villa on Lake Como, or at family functions, etc. It seemed pretty serious. And then all of the sudden they break up and literally 2 days later, he is with Stacy Keibler. See below.



I am sorry, but I just don't think it's normal to move on that quickly from a 2 year relationship. It makes me think George might have some issues. Like he CANNOT be alone. I mean, when has he ever been single? He just jumps from woman to woman to woman. I just find it kind of disturbing. He is definitely hot and sexy, but his dating habits are a big red flag. Good luck Stacy!

Vent Time

I can't hold my tongue anymore. Girls that are over the top need help. Erin to the rescue.

Some girls need to realize that there's a fine line between glamorous and over the top. Like for example, wearing a little mascara and lip gloss to the gym- ok, wearing fake eyelashes to the gym- not ok.

I am not an innocent party here, I used to wear some ridiculous things, but as you get older you learn (in theory) the line between nicely dressed and overdone.

I think one of the problems is that girls/women want to dress exactly how they see celebs dress. Let's remind ourselves that they are CELEBRITIES, they are living in a different world and can wear whatever they want. We civilians need to dress like normal people otherwise we look ridiculous.

Take for example, Kim Kardashian. Everyone seems to think she is one of the best dressed celebrities. I think she dresses cute, but not really my style, because to me she always looks over the top and overdone. Too many accessories, too much cleavage, big hair, sky high heels, pounds of make up. To me this style screams, NOTICE ME, I'M AN ATTENTION WH*RE.





I think that Diane Kruger is a good example of how to dress. Her style is fashion forward but not over accessorized and not too in your face.





Another important thing to consider when dressing yourself is where you're going. Probably the most important question to ask yourself before you leave your house "is this appropriate for where I am going?" Just because you have a cute outfit on doesn't mean you should be wearing it.

Obsession: Summer Sweaters

These are the cutest sweaters ever. We all know what the #1 problem with sweaters is, they make you look fat. That's why summer sweaters are so genius, because they are pretty much just pieces of yarn crocheted together to amazing cuteness!

Everywhere I look, there's a nother celeb wearing one, this means it's a must have for summer.

Another great thing about them is their versatility. You can wear them with pretty much anything, jeans, shorts, skirts, bikini, to work, to dinner, to lunch, etc etc.

I got a couple cute ones from Nordstrom (Free People) and LF Stores are packed with them (a little pricey though).

Apparently Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon are promoting the birth of their twins like it's a new record (who does that?) and are doing stories for every trash magazine there is.



Here is the cover of British OK. Someone please explain to me, why, for the love of God, they think this is a picture to share with the entire world. They are naked and he is grabbing her boobs! What the hell. They must think that because she is preggo, it's like "art" or something.

Maybe the problem is that celebrities live in a fake world and they don't know what normal is anymore. Yep, that's my conclusion.

Celebrity Gossip - The Superficial - Because You're Ugly

Oscars Report

Needless to say, that was a total lackluster Oscars. I don't know why I get my hopes up anymore because the awards show just seems to get worse and worse and more boring every year. I was initially excited for the show because James Franco was hosting but he turned out to be a bit of a dud as host. I still love him though!

The winners were totally predictable and I asked myself about 20 minutes into the show, why am I even watching this? I guess I continued in hopes that something interesting would transpire, like a wardrobe malfuntion, a slip of the F bomb, something. But nope, nothing interesting happened. At all.

So let's get to the point here, the dresses. The red carpet was pretty much a sea of mediocrity but there were a few good dresses.

My #1 Mila Kunis in Elle Sab. She looks absolutely stunning in this dress and it fits her perfectly. The dress is a perfect balance between sexy and romantic and the color looks great with her complexion. Definitely oscar worthy!



My #2 Scarlett Johansson in Dolce Gabanna. Love this dress and the way she is styled. Short hair is hard to style without adding extensions and I think her hair looks awesome! Between the color and the lace overlay, I find this dress really interesting and the cut out back made it super sexy. Love it!




My #3 Annette Bening in Naeem Khan. I didn't think this dress looked that great on the red carpet, but when she got on stage it blew me away! The dress was sparkling and blinging everywhere and it made her look tall and skinny, which is always a plus. I normally hate sleeves, but she was definitely on trend (sleeves were everywhere last night) and she pulled off the look nicely.



My #4 Jennifer Lawrence in Calvin Klein. I am going to put this on here, even though I don't think this dress was appropriate for the Oscars. I don't think it is dressy enough, especially with the way she is styled, but I love it and it fits her to perfection. I love the cut of this dress, I wish I could have a short black version. Hot!



Now time for worst dressed. There were a lot but I will just mention these few.

#1 Worst Marrisa Tomei in Lily et Cie. My God, how could she possiby think this looks good? That is the weirdest dress ever. The neckline is awful, the thing on the bottom is atrocious. It looks like prom from 1982. At least her hair looks good.



#2 Worst Nicole Kidman in Christian Dior. I can't believe she wore this! Usually she looks amazing on the red carpet. The dress looks like an embroidered duvet cover and her hair looks really bad. That is exactly how I wear my hair on days I don't wash it.



#3 Worst Cate Blanchett in Givenchy. What is going on with the top of this dress and the wierd pop of lime green? So random. I actually like the bottom of this dress and think it would be really beautiful with a different top.



#4 Worst Sharon Stone in Christian Dior. Scary!!! She looks like a goth princess/serial killer with her crazy makeup and 1 foot tall poof. The dress is actually ok (just ok) but her styling is horrible! Someone help this woman.



Did anyone else notice that there were the most random people ever at the oscars last night? Like Celine Dion? Sharon Stone? Donald Trump? And where was Leonardo DiCaprio, Brad and Angie, Johnny Depp? I wonder if some actors are starting to snub the oscars because they realize how crappy they are. Hm.

What happened?

To Aubrey O'Day? This is tragic. I saw this pic of her with Eve and couldn't even believe that it was her. I thought it was Rachel Uchitel at first.

What happened to the Aubrey from Danity Kane? She used to be so cute! Remember?



Maybe it's because she started a war with Diddy and he placed a curse on her. She is kind of stupid, I mean who in their right mind would start a war with him. He is like one of the most powerful guys in the music business. Silly girl.

I do secretly wish that Danity Kane would get back together! Slim chance, but a girl can hope.

Buff and Tough

Did Cameron Diaz not get the memo that steroids are bad for you? Holy crap her arms are getting massively cut up. She is starting to look like Madonna (apparently A-Rod likes chicks with dude arms).

Does anyone else think its totally unfeminine to have arms like this? I don't think this is a good look. Cammy seriously looks haggard and really looks to be aging a lot. I guess that's what happens when you're constantly in the sun. Every time I open a tabloid, there she is in Mexico or Hawaii or wherever on the beach in a bikini. Not good.

Anyway, I think she should stop pumping iron. She is starting to look like a man. Between the body building and tanning, she will soon look like this! ahh!

Dinner with a Celeb

This week I am at an utter lack of inspiration for the ol blog. Hence the lack of posts recently. So I asked my friend for some inspiration and we came up with the idea of discussing what celebs we'd like to have dinner with and why! How ORIGINAL, right?

So here are some ideas:

1. Angelina Jolie to ask her why she wore this outfit.


2. Britney Spears to discuss her weave issues.


3. These 2 dirtbags to tell them to take a hike.


4. Kim Kardashian for some butt growing tips, then to tell her to take a hike.


5. James Franco because he is hilarious. And well, he's hot.


6. Megan Fox to ask her why she always makes this face when she takes pictures. Maybe it's permanently stuck like that.


7. Enqrique Iglesias, need to get to the bottom of the mole removal.



8. Pauly D, to ask him if he would do me the honor of styling my hair.



9. Donatella Versace. I have got to know how she keeps her skin looking so young and vibrant.


10. Kil Zolciak. I am dying to know how she gets the wig on before her man wakes up in the morning. Does she sleep with it on?

Kim K is now... a granny?

What is this outfit? Gross. There are so many things wrong with this look, I don't even know where to begin. Most importantly, it's not age appropriate at all. This looks like something, hmmmmmmm... Helen Mirren would wear. Who is 65, may I remind you. It is also ill-fitting and doesn't flatter her shape at all (see pic below).

She wore this to a toilet opening ceremony in Times Square. Yes, I said toilet opening ceremony. Why would she ever do that? Does she have any standards?

I know a lot of people like her, and usually she does wear cute outfits, I will give that, but I am really getting sick of her. She is self obsessed and she doesn't even have any talent. All she has is a huge butt and a sex tape. Last time I checked, neither of those were cool. And now she is opening up toilets for money. 2 words- fame wh*re.

Royal Engagement

I am sure you have all heard by now that our dear Prince William is (finally) engaged to Kate Middleton after 8 years of dating and 1 break up. Pretty good record I would say.

I am so excited for a royal wedding, I can't even contain myself! It's going to be incredible.

I was wondering to myself what it takes to be a Princess. Pretty much perfection in every way, or at least a portrayal of it. Kate Middleton definitely has some big shoes to fill, after Princess Diana. Pressure is on, girlfriend!



Looks wise, I think she fits the role of Princess quite nicely. Elegant and graceful with classic beauty and style. And a beautiful 18 carat sapphire to boot!





She might be my new idol :)

WTH?

I don't get it. I just don't get it. What on earth would prompt an A-list (well B after this ensemble) to leave her house looking like this!?!?! She literally looks like she just woke up after a rough night of partying. Look at her hair! Her make up!!! TRAGEDY. Brief lapse of judgment apparently. Rachel Zoe must have taken the day off.

Luckily she made up for it shortly after with this ensemble.
